Who We Are & What We Do
Primarily we are a registered charity and a non-profit making limited company business. We are run by a board of unpaid volunteer directors, assisted by a small team of paid employees. Our conduct is governed by the Charities Commission and we are answerable to Companies House in relation to business matters. Any profits that do arise from the conduct of the business are donated to charitable causes, particularly those affecting the local community. (See Charitable Fund Raising.)
We are a Registered Member's Club and are licenced to sell alcoholic beverages on the premises. Our premises include a large hall/concert room, which can be hired for private or corporate and business activities and a cafe is run from the premises on weekdays. (See Strong Beans Coffee Shop.)

Our aim is to provide a safe, comfortable and friendly environment in which members of the local community can carry out various activities.

Vision
Our vision is to expand and diversify the membership of the community centre. We hope this will lead to us continuing to serve the local community with the provision of improved services and an expansion of our charitable work and donations.
